OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

uh not really

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

check out this video here: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra-basics/core-algebra-graphing-lines-slope/core-algebra-slope/v/slope-and-rate-of-change it will explain the rate of change and should help u w ur prob :)

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

short version is the rate of change is the slope of the line = vertical change / horizontal change = change in y / change in x the table in ur prob provides a list of x n y values so they can be used to calculate rate of change :)

OpenStudy (spring98):

Ok so I tried to figure it out and the answer I got was 1/2. What do you think? is it right?

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

bingo, GREAT job, @Spring98 1/2 is the right ans :)
