Welcome to OpenStudy! @babydoll.m Since we are multiplying 54 to 'm', and we need to isolate m, we need to do the opposite of multiplication. So what is the opposite of multiplication? Hint: The opposite of addition is subtraction, and vice versa. So what could the answer be for the above question which I gave you? :)

OpenStudy (babydoll.m):

division @TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

correct, so we need to divide both sides by 54 \(\sf\Large \frac{54m}{54} = \frac{512}{54}\) Can you simplify that?

OpenStudy (babydoll.m):

If (54)m = 512, what is the value of m? 2 3 5 8

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
