So how should I put it?
OpenStudy (amistre64):
but if we knew what we had to multiply that by, we would multiply the inch side by it
x inches = y miles
find some value k, such that ky=1
kx inches = ky miles
kx inches = 1 miles
OpenStudy (amistre64):
if ky= 1, how do we solve for k?
OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):
1x ?
OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):
I dont understand

if ky=1... this is a basic beginner algebra process. it is why they made you do so many 'solve for this or that' variable.
if ky=1, solve for k
