tracy has a cell phone plan that provides 250 free min each month for a flat rate of $29. for any min over 250, tracy is charged $0.35 per min waht if the fallowung piecewise function

OpenStudy (retireed):

A piecewise function behaves differently for over the domain of the function. In this case the domain is in minutes and the range is how much the cell service cost (dollars) Can you write a function for the first 250 minutes in terms of dollars? Write a function for more than 250 minutes in terms of dollars? If you can't figure this out try sketching a graph of the cell payment plan.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So he is charged 29 dollars if he is less than or equal to 250 minutes but charged .35 cents per minute over 250

OpenStudy (suckatmath01):

so d= 29 + .35x when x is every minute over 250 and d is the answer in dollars

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am still lost

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x)={29, x_<250 {.35x, x>250
