http://prntscr.com/99xprm Please :( Has to do with slope intercept form
@jigglypuff314 idk what i did wrong lol
hmm what did you put that you got wrong? .-.
lol i put y=5/2x+1
oh! I see becareful because the b = the y value when x = 0 the point they gave was for when x = -4 from (-4, 1) see?
oh
so what happens now I dont remember and the internet is confusing
so we should Temporarily plug in the point for both x And y to find our 'b' 1 = (5/2)*(-4) + b
ok so b would be 11 and then it would be y= 5/2x+11 ?
yep! that's what I go too :D
okay yay! Ill do the rest by myself and then Ill call you for the next topic :D
http://prntscr.com/99y4ay I did the same thing for this one but i got it wrong
look at your answer again you might be missing an 'x' ?
-_- ohh lol (._. )
do you want me to continue here or start a new question?
either or is fine ^_^
Lol ill just do one more topic here : Two consecutive even integers have a sum of 50. Find the integers.
I dont understand this at all.
well two consecutive even integers would be x and x+2 right? where x is the first even number and the next even number would be x+2
x would be 50?
Can you walk me thru this one please? and there was this other one last night that even had like stuff with 3x +2 or something like that.
whoops sorry I couldn't find the link back >.> mmm x + x + 2 = 50
its okay ! :) well i got 2x=48 and x=24 ..
yep ^_^ so that's one of the numbers the other number would be 24 + 2 :P
Oh ok
Three consecutive integers have a sum of 48. Find the integers. To find 3 for this one would be different? or like x+x+3=48 ?
if the smallest number is x the next consective integer is x+1 and the one after that is x+2 so x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 48
wow its so confusing but ok :P
Hey i really dont get how to break this one down
