A heterozygous, three-horned alien from Mercury has met and fallen in love with a four-horned alien from Jupiter. What would happen if there was an intergalactic mating between the pair? T is for three horns F is for Four. For the three horned one I have Tf What would it be for the four horned one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry do not know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be ff?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the four horned one heterozygous, homozygous recessive or dominant?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*or homozygous dominant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't say! That's why I'm so confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats really weird because you cannot properly find the possible offspring combinations without knowing if its heterozygous or homozygous! I hate when theres questions like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know right! Biology enjoys beating around the bush. Like come on -.-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm in AP bio right now and even that class wouldn't be as cruel as to give out such a vague question..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I would have to say probably FF or Ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

More than likely Ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So Ft?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea, thats probably the best shot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It make sense. Thanks so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
