OpenStudy (anonymous):

Giving direct answers is against the rules :\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

true.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can tell you what the functions of the tissues are I don't think that'd count as a direct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain it to me then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C and D are not answers, I know that much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thx. would you say A. idk, give it ur best guess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nervous tissue forms the communication network of the nervous system by conducting electric signals across tissue. It doesn't hold the tissues together. Muscular tissue carries out movement, supports the body, and maintains the posture, but does not hold anything together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd say B because connective tissue supports and binds other tissues of the body. It's also in the name. "Connective" tissue. It connects tissues of the body together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Epithelial tissue (which I've never even heard of and had to search it :p) protects the tissues that lie beneath it from radiation, desiccation, toxins, invasions by pathogens, and physical trauma.
