How do human activities increase the occurrence of species extinction?

Not sure if you still need an answer but oh well. But we hunt them which most likely turns into eating them, or using their fur, teeth (sharks), and etc. We also may destroy their habitat. And of course, we cause pollution which just slowly kills everyone. There's many more but those are just examples.
