Has anyone ever read the play Macbeth by Shakespeare?
Read it but remember none of it. Have you considered Spark Notes or Book Rags as supplemental resources?
some of it
Its just that I'm having trouble understand it, and right now I have a prompt to do about it. The prompt is "Does power corrupt automatically? Apply this famous expression to the events and characters in Macbeth. You can focus on a single character or several. You may take the position that it always corrupts, never corrupts, or sometimes corrupts, but be sure to provide textual support." I do know that power has corrupted since Macbeth became king, and how harsh a kingdom can be with corrupted people. @Hero @YoungJedi
Answering prompts such as these requires adequate historical perspective In addition to referencing events that took place in Macbeth, you'll also have to reference ebents that took place in history that supports your thesis which requires researching political world history amongst other things. Good luck
To help, I recommend incorporating at least one quote on Power from a famous author into your essay,
You can find such quotes On good reads.com. You Might even find a good book or two to read that Can help support your thesis.
Okay, I understand. Thanks for helping (: @Hero
