first you need to calculate the work done by friction on the blue car. the skid length is the distance over which the work was done, and the force applied by friction is \(\mu W\). That should equal the kinetic energy lost by the car along the skid length so \(\Delta KE_{B} = \mu W_{B} x\) where x = 20m and \(W_B = 1000kg\)
