rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):
yes it is because the emails keep increasing at the same pace
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how do I do this
Write the equation of the line containing the point (3, –2) and having a slope of 2 in slope-intercept form.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@rebeccaxhawaii
OpenStudy (trojanpoem):
y = mx+ b
Get a couple of points from the graph:
(0,4)
(1,5)
slope = dy/dx = 6-4/2-0 = 2/2 =1 (slope = m)
y = x+b
4 = b
y = x + 4
So y doesn't vary directly with x

For the second question use the same technique
y = mx +b
y = 2x + b
-2 = 6 +b
b = -8
y = 2x -8
