when you are trying to find the time in a velocity question can i use factoring or the Quadratic formula

OpenStudy (danjs):

hmm, type the question

OpenStudy (danjs):

velocity = a length / a time

OpenStudy (danjs):

if distance - s = cubic function then velocity - v = quadratic function

OpenStudy (danjs):

if you are given v(t) = at^2+bt+c for some velocity, v(t) to solve for t, you can always apply quadratic formula, have to rearrange to standard form first, 0 = ax^2 + bx + c
