Keith ran in a marathon. It took him 3 hours and 2 minutes to run 26 miles. If he ran at the same rate for the whole race, how many minutes did it take him to run each mile

I can help

OpenStudy (smartanne):

First you want to convert 3 hours and 2 minutes into minutes not hours. So the total number of minutes would be 92 because 3*60+2=92. Now just divide 92 by 26. The simplified answer would be 3.54. So that means Keith took about 3-4 minutes per mile.

Medal if this helps...also fan me I'm on at least twice a day and can help in almost all subjects :)
