Favorite 90's r&b/rap songs and artist?

OpenStudy (serenity74):

Nirvana *nods head*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nirvana isn't r&b or rap.

OpenStudy (serenity74):

You asked in the 90's artist so I answered Nirvana. And now I realized I didn't read the question properly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah... even though Nirvana isn't quite the answer I'm looking for, they're still an excellent throwback band.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lil jon (even though he is kinda 2000s) tupac, biggie smalls,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cool J, Missy Elliott,Puff Daddy, Eve..etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thatone_girl well, one of his first songs came out in '98, I think.. so he's fine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Treble_214 I'm like.. really surprised you called him Puff Daddy because I never know what to call him. But yeah, in the 90's his music was better than now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (dmcdowell):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's also a lot of old rap artist that aren't mentioned a lot but inspired other big 90's artist like DJ Quik, Yoyo, Big Daddy Kane, etc , surprisingly no one's mentioned Run DMC yet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wasn't Eminem 90's?

OpenStudy (dmcdowell):

@thatone_girl I already put mine down @himealec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Treble_214 Yep, most of his old music sources from 1995. Those songs are apart of ep's and underground music.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought so.

OpenStudy (dmcdowell):

afroman walked threw the white land houses went up for sell i was standin on a corner sellin rap cds when i met a lil girl name jane i let her ride in my cadi cause i didnt know her daddy was the leader of the klu klux klan @himealec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dr.Dre, Jay-Z, WU-Tang clan, Lil Wayne (Early stuff only), Outkast, Bone thugs n Harmony and the obvious BIG and Tupac

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dmcdowell Colt 45!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Big Pun is a beast very underrated.

OpenStudy (legends):

Tupac and Biggie. But you can't forget about Snoop Dogg or Jay Z. Depends on what you like really.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm so disappointed for forgetting Snoop! Plus NWA (group wise and individually), Kid N Play, there were female rappers as well. Left Eye.. outside of TLC and inside. Also Yoyo, MC Lyte, & Salt N Pepa.

OpenStudy (skrill3xmast3r):

Early Eminem, Snoop, Tupac Shakur, Salt N Peppa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, you all have divine taste in 90's rap & r&b.

OpenStudy (skrill3xmast3r):
