How do you define the radian measure of an angle?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Put simply the radian measure is the distance along the circle equal to the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

360 degrees is = 2pi radians. It's a matter of proportions. If an angle was 180 degrees, it would be pi radians. 90 degrees, pi/2 radians.
