identify the coterminal angle between -360 and 360 for the angle -120

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

add 360

Parth (parthkohli):

lol are you sat?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd suggest you graph the angle -120 degrees. Then, look for an alternative way to measure this angle. Suppose you were to start your angle measurement on the positive x-axis and then travel counterclockwise to your drawing of -120 degrees. How many positive degrees would you have covered? Your answer should bet between -360 and +360 degrees.

iYuko (iyuko):

wouldn't you do 360-120?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Adding 360 deg. to -120 deg would also "work."
