OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

does anyone know a synonym of "bars" that rhymes with the word "behind"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bars like as in poetic bars?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I'm writing about Bonnie & Clyde so bars can be prison bars, actual bars like rods, the law system, etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well assigned rhymes with behind, like they were assigned. Lol random thought

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oooooh or bind

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

See, the actual line says "behind the black-stained bars" which isn't even that great of a line but I was thinking that "grind" would rhyme with behind... the grind of the prison system? It's a hard assignment lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah grind could work too, I think grind and bind would work really well

jabez177 (jabez177):

http://prntscr.com/9aq4p1 The only synonyms there is for the word, "Bars." I'm afraid none of them rhyme with Behind.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Well that gives me two to use. I may need your help in the future with this too - I wrote up a whole idea of the poem and now I just have to make it rhyme.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, I'm willing to help, I love writing haha

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

great. so how about a word that rhymes with "you" but could be a synonym with "lover"? or the other way around - rhyme with "lover", means "you" lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Boo rhymes with you and is used to describe a lover

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or when you coo at somebody you really like

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Ah, yes. How could I forget boo lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha idk I don't use it much lol

jabez177 (jabez177):

BOO!! You won't forget it now because I scared ya! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahaha jabez

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

how abouttt a word that rhymes with the same "behind/bind" but could mean couple, pair, us, etc.? and lol jabez

jabez177 (jabez177):

Fine? Like referring to it's a fine couple or you know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe twined, like intertwined

jabez177 (jabez177):

^ Way better than me. xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha Nash every word has its use In English Jabez

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

like if I'm saying "the crime spree wasn't a part of us"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What word in that do you need to rhyme? Or is that the main thought?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

the last word. my assignment is to write a sonnet so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahhh gotcha, I don't know any words that would go with the love them that rhyme with us lol

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

hm, maybe I could change the line up a little bit... in the meantime, how about a word that rhymes with "boo/you" and is a synonym with "people"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe a crew or a queue ?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Ah, yes. That's perfect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yaaaaaay :D

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

so a word that rhymes with "bind/behind" that means the same as "on" lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well there's lined, like lines on something. Combined maybe?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

like if you're saying "and i'm still hanging on"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmmm, what about aligned?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I could say "but I'm still aligned" but does that hold the same meaning?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it's in the context of holding on to love or something then it's perfect. Other than that I'm not sure

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Yeah, it's about the love.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah then that could work

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

so a word that rhymes with the "boo/you" that means the same thing as "Thing" lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmmm, I have no idea on that one haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I googled it and I can't find anything that works for that :(

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Yeah, I looked it up too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you find anything?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

there's a "tool" which I COULD use if I had to. I could cut the last "l" off saying it was because of the southern drawls or accents Bonnie and Clyde probably had.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's clever.....I like it. It also adds authenticity to the sonnet as if they were directly involved with the writing or someone who observed them

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

The sonnet is supposed to be humorous and written from Bonnie to Clyde so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So that's perfect then

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Okay, so how abouttt a word that rhymes with behind/bind and means the same as "this"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is getting difficult now lol

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

sorryyy lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol nah it's fine, I like the challenge

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm really not sure if there is anything lol

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

yeah, there's no real synonyms in the thesaurus.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's make up a word. Haha jk

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

maybe we COULD though lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol are you allowed to do that?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

given the fact my english teachers always love me, maybe? lol

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

or I could just rewrite the line or take that stanza out all together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmmmm, maybe try re-writing the line?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

okay, new task: rhymes with bind/behind, synonym of want

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Inclined, like you desire something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that work?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

would it work if Bonnie is saying she will wants Clyde around...

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

like "I still want" is basically the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wanting you I'm still inclined. That probably sounds weird though

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

eh, it's a Shakespearean kind of sonnet. He didn't make much sense at first glance either.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So maybe that could work. It's up to you though :D

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I'll use it, lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay :)

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

so now this is a bit of a switch... a word that rhymes with the boo/you but means the same as behind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow this is so hard lol

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I could just keep it because it rhymes with the one we just came up with, but then it doesn't fit the every other line rhyming thing I have going

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we need to make that rhyme

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

yeah.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dang, I actually have to go, I'm so sorry :(

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

aw, okay. thanks for all your help!
