Solve for c. -15c – 3 = -19c + 1

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Hello!

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

So first you just get all of the same type of variable on one side.

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

So, I would first add 3 to both sides

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Then, add 19c to both sides...

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Then, you would end up with \[4c = 4\]

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Then divide c from both sides..

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

You should get \[c = 1\]
