There should be a social section. Since we're not supposed to post "Polling" questions we should have a section so we can do this. Also, Instead of the feedback section is spammed with Birthday posts and New user posts we can use that section for those topics. The feedback section can be used for feedback :)
i feel as thought if we were to have a section like that , that section would be spamed alot

I think that it's a good idea, also I think there should be a new state in the union called Cheeto
This is a study site...poll questions are allowed as long as they don't obtain personal info and are relevant to the subject. As for happy birthday posts and new users posts those are usually irrelevant but mods tend to leave them they close the new user posts. This is a study site we should be focusing on how to make this site more user friendly rather than worry about the making sections for each thing :P However a question for you...how will implementing what you said benefit OpenStudy?
It will free the feedback section for feedback, meaning some of the bugs/Major issues of OS can be fixed. Along with feedback, We can post things such as "What bands are better in your opinion?" <A social question> and we won't get in trouble. That section could be a Backseat Moderator free-zone too. If I'm not mistaken when I signed up for Openstudy it said something about "Be Social.... And Make friends"... How are we supposed to make friends and be social when the chats are too laggy and we might not have time to message people? This section will fix this problem.
Messaging people in on YOU if you don't have time to message them then that's your fault. You can make friends and be social in the chats. Mod free zone? LOL not happening. Users would take advantage of that and post things that are irrelevant. I don't think we need this. I think OS should be more focused on improving the lag and mod system
I feel like that is a very valid question @GracieBugg Though, OS is used for studying, not social media.
My points obviously not being seen.
I see your point i just feel that this is not needed
I'm just gonna give up on it. There's no point to keep rambling about it when I know it isn't really being considered.
You don't need to make such assumptions that was just my opinion someone else may think something else.
