First, please list what you already know. What do polynomial functions have in common? What happens if the coefficient of the leading term is negative? positive?
What's the general shape of a polynomial whose highest power of x is even? odd?

Surely you must know something about the graphs of polynomials that you could write about. Where do you get your primary info about the math concepts you're learning? Perhaps you should be going back to read and/or review that material, looking for discussion of polynomial functions.
