do you know about : Maximum Power Transfer Theorem?

rvc (rvc):

1) calculate the voltage by removing the load 2) calculate the equivalent resistance by short circuiting the voltage source or by replacing it with internal resistance. 3) At maximum power Rth=R_l so use \[\rm P_{\max}=\frac{V^2_{th}}{4R_{th}}\] where V_th n R_th are the values which u calculated in the first n second step respectively.

OpenStudy (radar):

A hint when calculating Rth short both sources and don't forget the dangling 3 Ohm that will be in series (with disconnected load resistor R(load)
