I am familiar with the quadratic equation, but I can't seem to solve this (I plug it in and come up with a wrong answer): A ball is thrown downward from the top of a 100-foot building with an initial velocity of 18 feet per second. The height of the ball h after t seconds is given by the equation h= -16t^2-18t+100. How long after the ball is thrown will it strike the ground?
