y=-4+2 y=2x-4

OpenStudy (pawanyadav):

y=-4x+2

OpenStudy (serenity74):

-4+2 = 2x - 4

OpenStudy (serenity74):

Then you solve for X and bam you get the answer.

OpenStudy (serenity74):

@Pawanyadav I think @jabadd56 is solving X?? or system of equations.

OpenStudy (pawanyadav):

@jabass56 mistyped the 1st equation. actually it should be y=-4x+2

OpenStudy (serenity74):

@Pawanyadav that's still incorrect mathematically because why would someome give you two equations to make an equation? It's either -4 +2 = 2x - 4 or System of equations.

I'm looking for x

OpenStudy (pawanyadav):

Check your first equation is it correct Don't you forget something

OpenStudy (serenity74):

Then it's -4 + 2 = 2x - 4 Bring all the numbers to one side and then isolate the two by dividing the two on both sides and whalaa you get the answer! :)
