Regarding Past Questions Is it intended that past questions even if they're closed to be still available for viewing by the general public? I mean I see why it's good for promotion, but I know a ton of people that back in school used this site for getting quick answers without reasoning on their own. So i was just wondering about that. No disrespect intended
yes they can be still viewed
yes anything posted on OpenStudy can be viewed by anyone.
No it's for future reference.
Users can go back onto those questions to get help in the future
Direct answers are usually deleted but im sure you'll find many around the site
Yes, it is intended.
Well its their choice. They can learn from the answer or they can copy them and suffer later in life :)
Suffer..
!
WOW so powerful phrase
I copy answers to figure out how they get it
just wondering at what time do you people sleep
lol
I do believe that closed questions should not be allowed for the public to view after a month except the OS Feedback questions. Sure, we'll lose a lot of potential users but most of them are the ones who just want answers.
We all probably live in america but i have no school so i dont sleep i usually go to sleep around 9-10-11
As i said users choose their own faith we shouldn't block users from viewing previously answered questions just because a selected few use it the wrong way.
@confluxepic You are looking at this from a moral standpoint. Preetha and her company will look at it at a monetary standpoint. Those "potential users" is what helps drive traffic and gives them income (ads, etc). So, sure, morals are good and all. But we live in a world of money and power

Why have moderators? Better have those users stay on our site. But I understand your point; we live in a world of money, power, greed, and change.
