what is the purpose of subheadings in informational text? A) to highlight supporting ideas B) to identify the main idea C) to summarize information in a visual way D) to define specialized vocabulary I will medal and fan :)
@Bookworm14 could you help me please?
do you have a guess? :)
I was thinking B? @Bookworm14
Honestly, I am torn. I am not 100% sure, but... However, I will agree with you on B, because the sub heading is your main idea if that specific area of the text. So I would go with B (sorry I know that must sound confusing xD )
Its fine! Thanks for trying :)
can you help with something else? @Bookworm14
I can try! but that will prolly be the last one lol, Im cramming for finals xD
Which of these sentences contains an error in verb usage? A) I just want to lay in my bed all morning B) I taught my dog to lie down C) My brother set his books on the counter D) My mother told us to sit right here Do you know anyone else that might be able to help me? @Bookworm14
Ok, what is you guess for this one? :D and Here is a list of people that may be able to help when I am not on, if you tag them (im not gonna tag them, but will give you their names Compassionate Callisto Conqueror goformit100 Micahm Mimi_x3 Parthkoli Phi
C? @Bookworm14
No, C is correct. The correct answer is A! :) Lay, is an incorrect verb, because it can only be used if the sentence is past tense. Ex: I lay in my bed all day yesterday. A is in present or possibly future tense so it needs to say I just want to "lie" in my bed all morning. does that make sense? :)
Thanks for your help, and thats makes sense. Im guessing you have to leave now? :( @Bookworm14
Yes, I am cramming for my finals! :( Good luck with you work!!!
Thank You! @Bookworm14
