PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE MEDAL AND FAN!! Solve for x: −4|x + 5| = −16 A. x = 21 over 4, x = −11 over 4 B. x = −1, x = 9 C. x = −1, x = −9 D. No solution

OpenStudy (igreen):

This splits into two different equations. -4(x + 5) = -16 and -4(x + 5) = 16

OpenStudy (igreen):

Can you solve them for 'x'? @alyssa1v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe C. But only a guess. Not certain

OpenStudy (igreen):

@ObeyFCS Please don't give out answers, even if they're what you "think".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not giving an answer just offering a possible solution and my input. Becuase I do not know

OpenStudy (igreen):

If you do not know, please do not answer, because it does no good to the asker.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well if he asked i would explain my reasoning on why i guessed that
