SRs and stats multiple choice help.
2.True or false? An experiment involves no manipulation of the variables i put False 3. true or false? the most common form used to acquire data is census. i put False
@whpalmer4
2 is false because in order to make an experiment you must change and manipulate things and 3 is false as well because there are other popular ways to acquire data
@Rushwr
I think u are correct except for the 3rd one, I'm a little confused u better confirm it from some one else
ok, do you know anyone that can help?
I also have this The most basic sampling method studied in statistics is the simple random sample (SRS). In your own words, what is the correct definition of a simple random sample of size n? ***A simple random sample of size n is a sample that is selected from a population in a way that ensures that every different possible sample of the desired size has the same chance of being selected.
I think the 3rd statement is correct !
5. By definition, a simple random sample of size n is any sample that is selected in a manner to guarantee every individual in the population has an equal chance of selection. ** False, an SRS is meant to be unbiased, an srs cannot guarantee EVERy individual is picked, they chose a sample of everyone who has the same data. This is a sample meaning that not Every single individual is being chosen.
oh OK!
Because as to what i know modern census is commonly used for business researches
h ok that makes sense. I just need to check over the answers i put down myself for SRS there supposed to be a 4 i n the sentence above 5 but i forgot lol
