I was scrolling through the music page and I saw that the admins was saying that we cannot post our own song lyrics because they have no rhythmical indication and melodic notification. Also I saw that we have to post them on the literature or writing page. I am going to say that how can you tell if they are not using rhythmical indentation or melodic notification without hearing the song. Also maybe the people over at literature and writing don't know much about writing music. What are your views admins?

OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

I just want to know everyones logic that is it then I will stop

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

We prefer to keep the english portion of music lyric writing to the english/literature/writing sections because we feel that they would be better equipt to handle the flow and rhymes of the English language. Many of our musical helpers are only capable in giving help in relation to music theory and performance. where rhymes and syllables are not their strong suite. This is why we suggest to people to post their lyrics in the english/literature/writing sections instead ^_^

OpenStudy (yellowlegoguy99):

I think you already told him that. @jigglypuff314

OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

How do you know what they've told me and didn't tell me

OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

I get it but I have great grammar all I need is some good help telling me if it sounds good. Then if I feel the need to I will take it to English and Literature but I think we should be allowed to post our song lyrics in music. And all of this is coming from a musician so I am just curious that's all.

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

I believe lyrics with the combination of the background music is ok to post in the music section, but crtiques on lyrics specifically might go better in the literature

OpenStudy (greencat):

English section would provide better help for lyrics. So don't feel upset.

OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

I'm sorry but I just don't quite agree or see with what you are saying.
