Is this really a Math question? I'll explain it to you though but next time please post it in the proper section. :)

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

I think its D because [ Extreme tides happen twice a month, which is not extremely rare at all. They are caused by the straight alignment of the earth, Sun and Moon. Although they are not extremely rare, extreme tides are not normal occurrences, for they only happen 24 times a year; whereas both high tides and low tides occur 730 times a year. This comes out to a ratio of (3 : 9125). ]

ok well idc where i post it at but thanks for the info @jabez177

jabez177 (jabez177):

Extreme tides are Extremely rare. Now does that sounds right or no?

jabez177 (jabez177):

You are most welcome, @Cylah! Glad to be of assistance. :)

OpenStudy (md152727):

yes, rifht

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is not true because it put that answer at first @jabez177 and i got it wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

extreme tides can't be rare if they occur around ever 1st and 3rd quarter moon.

jabez177 (jabez177):

I'm not saying that is the answer. I just combined the question and that answer and asked you if it sounds right. :)

jabez177 (jabez177):

*One of the answers and asked you if it sounds right. :)

jabez177 (jabez177):

But I believe @KendrickLamar2014 gave the most accurate answer, wouldn't you agree, @Cylah?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not really. I just submitted my test and I got 2 wrong. Wanna help me with those two questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Extreme tides are extremely rare a normal occurrence caused only by hurricanes not really tides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How much does the moon influence the tides on Earth? Several times as much as the sun Twice as much as the sun About as much as the sun Half as much as the sun

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):
