the intercepts method would be faster in this case, since you're given a simple linear equation in which you can set either x=0 or y=0. Set x=0 in 9x + 12y= -36. What's y? Write the coordinates of this point as (0, ? ). Set y=0 in the same equation. What's x? Write the coord. of this point as ( ? , 0). Plot these 2 pts and draw a strt. line thru. them.
