Write the equation of the following statement: 4 times the sum of a number and 3 is 9 less than twice the number. How would i write this into a equation?

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Okay so you just have to evaluate the words a bit. So 4 times would be 4 * the same of a number and 3 is 9 less than twice the number So lets say number is \[n\] Now the equation would be \[4*(n+3) = 2n - 9\]
