It sounds like you are nervous. And you where a lil flat because of it. Relax

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

You do have talent

OpenStudy (briggles1999):

Thank you. I wrote the song and trying to get pitch is terrible

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

You are welcome. The best way to help or what I do is sing in the bathroom cause that has great acoustics and then play back what you recorded you will be able to hear how you sing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sing in the shower, in a strange way that helps me, but ya it sounds like you can do it, just got a relax a bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just need to relax! I am also a singer, it helps to open your mouth wide and breathe from you diaphragm!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so dont worry ^, ,^ you got this

OpenStudy (briggles1999):

TY everyone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're a great singer. I hear ur a little shaky. But when I started singing when I was little I would stutter all the time. What I do now when I sing (good or bad xD) I just don't care whos there whats infront of me I just become one with the music :3

A capella is pretty risky. Especially in your case where it sounds like your relatively new to recording music. I have a few suggestions for you. Your pitch and tone are not the best. Not because your a bad singer but because you lack breath support. You're adding style in too early as well. Practice the fundamental scales in long tones. Make it as simple as you can. You can add style in once you get the basics down. More than anything, this exercise is to help you with breath control and support. If scales get boring, you can try simple songs while maintaining the long tones. Hope this helps.

OpenStudy (briggles1999):

Thank you for the tips i will use them:) im going to try rto run a little more to help with breathing as well.

If you are recording, the best thing to do is relax and not care if you mess up. You're voice was a little shaky and you sounded tense. When you're recording it really doesn't matter if you mess up because you can always do it again. I've had to record a song up to sixty or seventy times in one night because of a deadline. The reason I couldn't do it is because I was tense. Once I relaxed I recorded the song and got to home. So after all of my rambling just relax and have fun because that's what it's all about. I hope this helps.
