Well here's some tips that I use when I write on Wattpad (which is an app that you should check out if you like writing):
-Come up with an idea, characters, a plot
-Take time before each chapter so that you aren't anxious about it and make things happen to quickly
-Always check your grammar and writing so readers can understand what you mean
-Don't make your story predictable, because that's boring. So is reading a story that is much like a very popular topic or book that almost everyone's read.
_Before you write, think about what audience you are writing the book for. You should include things that your readers like but stay true to what you like and originally planned the book to be.
