Explain?

I would say moisture. Not sure though, don't quote me on it. You might get better help in the science section. :)

OpenStudy (frozen15):

I would say in my opinion (cold air mass) cause when two clouds bump into another they cause a crashing noise or 'thunder". its like a car crashing another but except it doesn't shoot sound out of the sky. when forming a thunderous cloud , the clouds moisture up themselves to make themselves reputable where they cause a form of skyfall of rain and sound of thunder.. also saying if they crash too hard , they cause a form of thunder and when the cold air mass comes through it makes the storm grow and grow for more intention to the power of the storm , i would say B cold air mass :)

OpenStudy (frozen15):

sorry when i said "also saying if they crash to hard they make a form of thunder" i meant to say "crash to hard to make a bigger form of thunder and a chance of lighting
