pooja195 (pooja195):

What is the least common multiply of 6 and 8?

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

well find the lowest number that 6 and 8 can go into without remainders

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

so the last two choices are not factors of both numbers so that leaves you with the first two

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

with 24 being the lowest that would be your LCD bc 6x4=24 and 8x3=24

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

@pooja195 this wasnt a direct answer i explained how to get it :)

A note for future reference as a fellow helper: sometimes it's best to simply give an explanation and let the person try to find the answer themselves, otherwise they could simply glance at your comment, find the answer they were looking for, thank you, and not even read the explanation you worked so hard to type out :)
