)A bag contains 20 marbles of the same size that are blue, green, and red. The probability of picking a blue marble is 20%. The probability of picking a green marble is 50%. Determine the probability of picking a red marble from the bag and then classify the probability of picking a red marble as likely or not likely to occur.

Well, the probability of picking a red marble would be 30%. This is not likely to happen due to the probability of picking a green marble being 50%. However, you are more likely to pick a red marble than a blue marble. Do you understand this better now @KayleeMullins

So its not likely.

@KayleeMullins the easiest way to figure this out would be to add up the percentages that the blue and green marbles is in total, which is 70%. Now, you can easily see than the probability of picking a red marble would be 30%, which no is not very likely. You are likely to pick out a green marble.
