OpenStudy (annjewell1998):

Please Help! Graph the two equations to solve the system. What is the solution? 1/2 x - 2y = 4 and 4y - x = -8 a (-2, 0) b no solution c (3, 4) d infinitely many solutions

OpenStudy (annjewell1998):

@calculusxy

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

If you can find a certain solution where there is a x and y value then it has one solution. No solution can not equal to each other meaning \[2\neq3\] Infinitely many solutions has the two expressions on both side of the equal sign equal to each other, e.r. \(4 = 4\)

OpenStudy (annjewell1998):

So how do I solve the equation to find out whether or not it has a solution, no solution or infinite solutions.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

You need to do system of equations.

OpenStudy (annjewell1998):

Oh okay

OpenStudy (annjewell1998):

Thank you :)
