Can anyone help me walk through this problem, I'm having trouble understanding it. A quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks completes 54% of his passes. Let the random variable X be the number of passes completed in 20 attempts. Conduct a simulation of the 20 attempts using the following random digits. Be sure to state how you assign your digits. 98726 10983 56239 42042 76520 68276 58239 48729 84912 87491 a) What proportion of passes was completed? b) How does this compare with what "should have happened" theoretically?

assign 00 - 53 as completing the pass and 54 - 99 as not completing the pass. (since 00 through 99 gives 100 "units", 00-53 is 54% and 54-99 is 46%.) go through 20 "units" 98..72..61..09..83..56..23..94..20..42.... count how many are between 00-53 || completed: 8 of 20 (40%) count how many are between 54-99 || not completed:12 of 20 (60%) 40% of passes were completed. it's less than 54%... but i'm not so sure about this one..

Oh I see, thank you this gives me an idea. of what I need to do.
