Connectity question
yes?
My tablet connects readily to OpenStudy. It also serves as my WiFi hot spot for my desktop computer. Until today all worked fine when I connected to OpenStudy on my desktop via my hotspot. Today, however, I have not even once been able to connect to OpenStudy on my desktop. Anyone have a fix to suggest? Thanks.
@Jaynator495 this is a question for you
More accurately, I CAN connect to OpenSudy, but get the "Uh-oh, lost the connection" message, plus "loading more," plus a blank right hand screen. :(
hmmm this often happens in chrome. I use mozilla. But it might not fix =[
Surely would like to get back to helping students thru my desktop.
I can answer this
Has nothing to do withyour comptuer
This happened to me yesterday, today it's fine...
Glad to hear from you. My desktop runs Chrome.
OpenStudy is messing up, unfortantly the only way to solve this is transfer to another OS Domain for a while, its happening to me to, i recommend going to new.openstudy.com then widget, then retro-widget
i didn't even knew of new opesntudy xD
I have not determained why this is, and have been unable to as it makes no sense...
But i've been working on it
Let me try new.OpenStudy. thx
np
There are several domains of os Alex :P
There's even one with "amazon" included in its link
i know one starting at their ip and then something like amzon..........
Thats because thats the connection to the amazon server...
NOT NOT NOT a OS domain, but the OpenStudy SERVER link.
@jaynator!! Your suggestion has solved my problem!! Gee, thanks.

NP Math :)
So wuh? :P
Actually, that WAS the first time I've asked a question on OpenStudy. Thrilled that this has resolved my problem. Thanks, Jaynator495, and to all the others who responded.
It could also be a problem with your internet provider ^_^ you may contact your internet providers (which most likely has tech crews aka tech support)
I don't think it's related to internet
Internet issues bring strange situations tbh
I know it was math, anywho... JOLG its not... i have 200mbps download and i'm having the issue LOL
As there came a time that I would search up things on my browser and results would show but I couldn't enter websites or anything. Only see the search engine results.
Eh... ._.
That is an OpenStudy problem which should not exist. But unfortunately, nothing much is being done to fix it. I'm rather surprised that you haven't gotten this problem in the past.
Tbh Comcast is the worst internet provider ._. I have problems with the modem I rent from them for $10/monthly and when it has problems I take it to the local store and they give me a "new" one... problem is they just recycle them and dont really fix them they just give me someone elses messed up modem
Erm, I'll just message you the domains. Isn't safe to let others see them. :)
I have the same problem mathmale
what is "new.openstudy.com" , and why doesn't it lag O.O
new.openstudy.com is a subdomain of OpenStudy. Basically, it uses a different server to connect to OpenStudy. Since everyone is using OpenStudy.com, the server lags. But when you use new.openstudy.com you are using openstudy.com through a different server that barely has any people using it. Thus, it is faster.
