How can you use function notation to evaluate a function with a given equation? How do you interpret statements that use function notation in terms of a context?

OpenStudy (mr.z):

Okay so function notation is f (x), correct? It can be thought of as another way of being a rep of the y-value in a function, very much when graphing. The y-axis is labeled as "f (x) axis" as you graph. Work with that and call me again if you need more help.

OpenStudy (christian_10_):

Thank you so much! :)

OpenStudy (safyousuff97):

thank u both of you :)
