You want to know how far apart the two cities appear to be on the map. If the actual distance is 135 km, and the scale is \[\frac{ 1cm }{ 100km },\]
and you use multiplication, cancelling units where necessary, what distance (in cm) do you obtain?

I think it might be 1.35...
u are right 1.35cm=135 km
You're right! If 1cm= 100km, you would divide the number by 100 to get the value in centimeters!
