How did the black death change the economic conditions of Europe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it made it dangerous to produce good, so it suffered bad

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

The economy was disrupted and money was heavily inflated. Because so many people died because of the Black Death. Workers were able to demand higher wages, because there were more jobs and less workers available. This meant less food was being produced as well and so the prices of food skyrocketed causing inflation in the economy.
