OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

show me the complete equation tho.

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Like complete for i can see it all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.. which is the sum or difference is equivalent to the following expression: 3x-2/9 A. 1/3x - 2/9 B. 2/9x - 1/3 C. 1/9x D. 2/9 I need it explained

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

I am assuming the expression you are talking about is (3x - 2)/9 So, the answer is 3x/9 - 2/9 that is x/3 - 2/9. So, it would be Choice a :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it is the answer, but can you explain it pls?

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Ok it's correct tho! and i'll explain hold on i dont really know how to tho give me a sec please

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

the 3 can be divided by 9 to give a fraction that can be simplified and the x just stays there

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

if you divide the 3x by 9 then the - 2 by 9

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Do you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. Thank you. :)

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Your welcome!=)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help me with another one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the algebraic expression for the following word phrase: the product of g and 4? A. g-4 B. 4g C. g over 4 D. g+4 Please explain how you got the answer. @Vickyisthesmartone123

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Ok sorry im late hold on a sec please.

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Well...the answer is B...but I find it confusing to explain though. hehe

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

First you have to simplify the g and the 4 replace with the variable to simplify and that's it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks :)

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

Your very welcome!:)
