1. The solution is where the lines meet and cross.....where they intersect...so the solution is (1,3). 2. Do this the same way as I did #1. 3. slope of the line....learn these rules : HOY -- horizontal line (going across), 0 slope, represented by y = a number VUX -- vertical line (going up and down), undefined slope, represented by x = a number.....so your line is horizontal...you should be able to figure the slope out with the info I just gave you. 4. In y = mx + b form, the y intercept, where the line crosses the y axis, can be found in the b position. So look at your graph...you have 2 y intercepts that are 1 and -3...now look at your answer choices...find the ones that have a y int of 1 and -3.....that will be your answer. 5. do the same thing that I did for #4
