pooja195 (pooja195):

Or you could have asked the user to post their options.

I know she is offline right now ..

OpenStudy (frozen15):

what is ur options?

OpenStudy (chandra_khan):

1. The correct answer is a. DNA is a double helix. It has two sugar phosphate "sides" in the shape of a double spiral. RNA is Molecule 2. It is a single helix. The "double" in double helix means that 2 single helices spiral around the shared center axis (as well as each other). 2.The correct answer is C. RNA (Molecule 2) is used to "read" the contents of DNA. DNA "unzips" and the RNA can come in a bond with the half-molecule of DNA. Remember that DNA can only contain two pairings of bases: adenine (A) with thymine (T) and cytosine (C) with guanine (G). A is always with T.... C is always with G. RNA does NOT contain thymine. It has uracil (U) instead. So.... when figuring out the RNA strand that will bond to a particular DNA strand, you have to remember these: DNA RNA A <----- U T <------ A C <------ G G <------ C So: T <--- A C <--- G A <--- U A <--- U G <--- C T <--- A 3. DNA and RNA are genetic material-- they contain the instructions for all the biological processes in life (as we know it at least). The best answer is C.
