One way to improve your socialization is to talk to people and "socialize" with them.

I'd say that the best way to improve your social skills is to get involved into more things. If you're school has extracurricular or after school activities, join some of them. This helped me tremendously, now I know most of the people in school by name, and last year I knew about two people. I recommend photography or videography if your school has them!

Oh and never cuss or be rude. I call people unicorns and whales and such, so I never really get angry, so people hang out with me.
