OpenStudy (benlindquist):

i know

OpenStudy (benlindquist):

any guess

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

er no lol

OpenStudy (benlindquist):

@BeautifulMystery.

OpenStudy (retireed):

Check your typing for the question or the answers. Since I believe it is .... f(x) = 12(1.7)x

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

@retirEEd no its correct

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

There isn't an answer

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

You guys must be reading the question wrong.. the x's are exponents

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

We we're, thanks for editing it for us. Now to simplify, we use PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction). The first thing that shows up on the list is exponents, so we multiply the 1.7 by 4 to get B. You could check it by plugging in a simple number like 1 and seeing if those two equations output the same number

OpenStudy (retireed):

Thanks for the backup FortyTheRapper . For a second there I thought I was wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is B.

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you everyone!
