Why did Osama bin Laden declare war on the United States? He wanted revenge for the US role in the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. He disagreed with the US policy of supporting the Taliban and wanted to rule Afghanistan himself. He saw the United States as collaborators with the Taliban against al-Qaeda and wanted to preempt an attack. He saw the United States as an oppressive, occupying force that was evil and harmful to Islam. He saw the United States as a potential ally for the Soviet Union in their occupation of Afghanistan.

this is a very debatable question. theoretically any of the answers can be answers. i would contact your teacher about this. my guess would be He saw the United States as an oppressive, occupying force that was evil and harmful to Islam. but no one knows for sure what he was thinking

I would think it would be number 3 because he was part of that terrorist group, and he was always wanting revenge on the USA. I hope that helps. @smartypants23
