The quadratic function f(x) = a(x − h)^2 + k is in standard form. The graph of f is a parabola with vertex (x, y) = ?

OpenStudy (retireed):

I just learned this yesterday! So tell me what you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea i thought the answer was (0,0) but apparently not

OpenStudy (retireed):

The vertex could be at (0,0), if h = k = 0 but h and k are not 0 then the parabola will be offset of the origin (not at 0). So the question is, which way will the parabola be offset if h and k are not zero?|dw:1449787878433:dw|
