OpenStudy (christos):

Can someone from here tell me how is the derivative assosiated with the motion

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

https://www.khanacademy.org/math/differential-calculus/derivative-applications please try this... this site is very helpful.

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

Motion? Like position, velocity, acceleration type motion?

OpenStudy (christos):

for example i know that the integral gives me the area under the graph , so there is that. The derivate gives me the slope of the tangent line. but what usefulness is there to this?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

if displacement is the line you graph, velocity is the first derivative, and acceleration the second if velocity is the line you graph, acceleration is the first derivative, and displacement is the integral and that's just the start of it it is \(useful^{useful }\)
